One coordinate set in a point dataset is a way of determining or estimating the geographic position of an object. The point layer in MapDrafts is used to customize the visual representation of locations within a dataset.
Depending on the layer type, each layer has different options available for customization. The following options must be available on the point layer.

Change hover style (only available for non-optimized layer)
The goal of having an optimized point layer is to ensure that your markers are loaded efficiently as possible. We try to achieve the efficiency by reducing the complexity of rendering a marker, hence some common feature like hover style is not available on a layer for optimized layer.
Note: we for point dataset with marker more than 500 points we recommend enabling optimized layer on the linked dataset to achieve the productive result.
Styling a geometry of type marker depends on the type of style the user chooses for location. Do check other document style marker SVG shape and style marker with an external image for more details.
Marker clusters are used to show a large set of markers clustered together in a numbered set of groups. Click here to learn more about clusters.
With conditional grouping, you can create multiple sets of groups. For each group, you can have different basic/hover styles.
