A dataset is the collection of geospatial features points, polygon, or polyline features that is used with map projects to make interactive maps. Use visual editor tool to modify dataset properties and this feature.

Once the dataset is added to your account you can also download a dataset as a GeoJson file.

Dataset can be created either by our web-based editor tool or can be directly imported using external geoJson/CSV files.

Note:

  • File size must not be greater than 10 Mb.
  • geoJson file must contain a valid location set.
  • CSV file must contain latitude and longitude columns.
  • Latitude and longitude column values in CSV must not be empty or null.
  • If the file has more features than your subscription shape count limit then only the first n features will be imported

Steps to import dataset

  1. Click on upload dataset from the dashboard
  2. Give unique dataset name
  3. Select dataset type
  4. Select external file
  5. Click upload file
  6. Once processing is finished the dataset will be added to your dataset list.

Steps to import dataset - B

  2. Give unique dataset name
  3. Select dataset type
  4. Click create a new dataset
  5. Add/edit/modify shapes using dataset editor tool.
