It is mainly used to change the representation of map features like water, landscape, poi, station, etc. We already have added few predefined sets of tiles to choose from that are used to change the visual representation of a map.
To change the base map
- Select one tile from the list
- Use custom mode to import google Maps style from an external source.
You can also override the selected style just by using advanced style options. To override the style all the advanced styles in the list will be executed sequentially after the selected style is applied to the map.
Steps to change base map style
- Create/Select the custom map project.
- Edit basemap styles section.
- Choose your style from collection or custom mode
- With the collection, mode select any one style
- With custom, mode creates or copy/paste Google Maps style from an external source.
- Apply changes.
